Meet Rosie-Lee Cuppatea, our charming and whimsical creation brought to life through a mix of fun and creative appliqué techniques. This adorable character is stitched using two distinct methods to add depth and texture to your finished cushion.

Her face, neck, teacup, and earrings are crafted using fusible appliqué and finished with a neat machine blanket stitch – although you’re welcome to stitch them by hand if you prefer a more personal touch. The floral elements—her cheerful flowers and leafy accents—are made with a frilly appliqué technique. These are hand-stitched using the vibrant Wonderfil Spagetti thread, with pinking-sheared edges secured in place by a bold running stitch, giving Rosie-Lee Cuppatea her uniquely playful character.

The background is beautifully hand quilted, and the design is framed with a charming peeper border to make the whole piece pop.

Please note: The two small navy buttons used for the earrings are not included in the kit. Cushion insert is also not included, but we do have the correct size cushion insert available in stock.
