John Thorpe performs repairs and servicing on-site at the shop even if you didn’t purchase it from Bellarine Sewing Centre. We do not service and repair all makes and models of sewing machines, please contact us to check if we can service your brand prior to bringing the machine in. You can feel confident in John’s abilities as he has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry and is an authorised warranty repair technician for Brother.
Sewing and patchwork classes
Sewing is a terrific hobby, many find it therapeutic and relaxing, while providing a creative outlet. Bellarine Sewing Centre runs a variety of sewing classes in Geelong, including patchwork classes, for beginners through to more experienced sewers. Other classes include Brother club classes and classes to learn how to use the ScanNCut machine. Meet new people, have fun and learn new skills – buy classes online, show up and enjoy!

How often do you clean your machine? And often do you get it serviced?!
Sunday Sewing... I found this very old unfinished project of needle turned clam shells in my sewing cupboard. Thought it was a perfect day to sit quietly and try to finish it (we all know that might not happen, but it sounded encouraging!). Hope you are enjoying this long weekend.

What an absolutely fabulous day we have had today for our Sewing Day #5 at The Range Curlewis Golf Course.
Thank you to everyone who attended today. We loved seeing you all. The project is so sweet and pretty and we had some lovely comments. We are looking forward to seeing some finished projects in the coming weeks.
We raised $805 for our chosen charity, Kids + Geelong thank you everyone who supported this fundraising.
Congratulations to everyone who won a door prize and thank you so very much @2greenzebras for helping us with such wonderful gifts for our attendees and so many beautiful door prizes, we greatly appreciate your help and support.

We understand that not all of you live in Geelong and not all of you are able to get in store to take up this offer.
Please understand it is really tricky to do this on the website as once we do a discounted price on fabric, everything and every quantity is discounted and it causes a bit of a situation.
SO, if you are not able to get in store that is OK, simply email us what you want and we will do a price adjustment in store. Alternatively you could put all of your chosen items in the cart on our website and take a screen shot and email it through. Everything in store is on our website. But PLEASE do not process your order with Paypal as we will then have to do an adjustment and we pay fees on what you order not the refunded price.
