What is a pintuck stitch used for?
The Pintuck Foot is used for embellishing garments, table linens and bed linens, typically in conjunction with a twin needle. Imagine using 2 different coloured threads, how pretty that would be!
Working with a twin needle, the foot creates evenly-spaced raised tucks in the fabric which can create some interesting patterns on a prepared garment or fabric. We stock these feet for both brands, Brother and Janome machines.
